1.) Let's be nice to each other. :) It's the only way this whole thing is going to work. And it's a basic skill we learned way back in elementary school. So we like the mantra Be Kind whenever possible. And we think it's most always possible.

2.) Be respectful of our local businesses. It's a tough world running your own business. Collectively we could write a book on the DON'Ts of business and the hard knocks....but we are trying to highlight the DO's. We appreciate your experiences but we are not managment. So let's keep the bashing to a minimum. We're trying to have FUN here. And bashing is the opposite of FUN for us. That's not to say your honest opinion will be squashed or suppressed. But there is an acceptable way to voice that opinion. And a way that is not so cool. We reserve the right to remove comments & images that we deem counterproductive to our mission as a whole. 🧡Just Beyond Clarksville ✨

We recently made a last minute, early morning trip to Charlotte, TN, and were excited to catch Charlotte Fresh Deli Donuts open. We had a great chat with the owner, Mr. Kaetly Taing, aka Kit. He shared with us all about his process of making things fresh daily and how he doesn't add fillers or preservatives to his donuts or other doughs. They're made fresh and meant to be enjoyed that day or the next!

Clarksville Locals: Meet Tony Centonze!

Tony, from Clarksville Living Magazine , is a staple at Clarksville events and happenings! If you feel like you recognize him, but can't quite place him, just imagine a camera in front of his face! 😉

Meet Tony Centonze, a longtime Clarksville local with a deep love for travel, music, and supporting small businesses. Born in Germany into a military family, he grew up in Clarksville, went to school here, and even owned multiple businesses before his work in publishing. While he's been to 45 countries, his heart always finds its way back home.

💬 What’s your favorite place you’ve traveled to?
🗺️ “Italy. I've been there the last couple of years, and I could go back right now. It's so beautiful and laid back. The pace, the food, the art, and the history—it’s all incredible.”

💬 What’s a fun, random talent you have?
🎶 “I whistle pretty well... I can whistle in harmony, which apparently not a lot of people can do!"

💬 If your business had a theme song, what would it be?
🎵 “Right now, I keep coming back to ‘Riviera Paradise’ by Stevie Ray Vaughan. It’s got this jazzy, bluesy feel—calm and peaceful, which is something I need in the chaos.”

💬 What’s one of your favorite local spots?
🍽️ “I love the little sushi place, Fuliyama! And Dos Margaritas has some of the best fajitas I’ve had.”

💬 What’s one thing you love about Clarksville?
🤝 “We have great people in the South, and Clarksville plays out of its league. We have so many locals doing big things on state and national levels, and I’ve never seen as much support for local business as I do now.”

💬 Cats or dogs?
🐱 “I love both, but cats are easier for my schedule!”

Beyond his passion for travel and business, Tony is a vinyl collector, a car enthusiast, and a former drummer who still picks up a guitar now and then. His New Year’s resolution? No new vinyl, no new cars and no new guitars—so far, he’s sticking to it!

SmashBurger Central started as a food truck dream—now, it’s a go-to spot for a great burger Just Beyond Clarksville. 🍔

Right outside Gate 6 of Fort Campbell in Oak Grove, KY, this local eatery is owned by Bobby and Gabriella, a young couple who turned their love for smashburgers into something bigger.

We stopped in recently and tried the burgers, fries, and cheese curds. The flavor did not disappoint. The burgers had that perfect crispy-edge smash, the fries were crisp and seasoned just right, and the cheese curds? A solid choice if you love a good crunch.
