We had a fantastic time down at the Holiday Lights Parade put on by FIRST Team RUSH 27 in downtown Clarkston tonight.

Thanks to Anne and Kate of Connecting Clarkston for announcing the parade for our broadcast. It takes a while for a community to understand something they have never had before. Thanks to Kyle Hughes and the wonderful students of FIRST Team RUSH 27 at Clarkston High School, robotics is becoming a word that is associated with Clarkston.

🏀 We gobbled up some basketball fun last night! 🏀 @independencetownship had their 29th annual Turkey Shoot Free Throw Contest - congrats to all the winners and Independence Township Parks, Recreation & Seniors for an amazing event!

On Friday, Nov. 8, the Senior Community Center put on their annual Veterans Day Lunch at the American Legion in Independence Township, MI . Independence Township Parks, Recreation & Seniors staff and volunteers served 150 Veterans and their spouses. Thank you to all our Veterans and Happy Veterans Day.
