Kick off the day with the Clarkston Freemasons' annual Jack Hess Memorial Pancake Breakfast from 7-10 am at the Masonic Lodge. ๐ฅ
Huge shoutout to Jimi and Carson from the City of the Village for putting up our app banners today. Keep an eye out for them if youโre headed downtown and make sure to download the app for info on all the fun happening this holiday, including the parade! ๐ฒ
The beautiful flags lining downtown and throughout the Township are thanks to the Clarkston Area Optimist Club and the wonderful residents supporting their Flags-For-Kids fundraiser. ๐บ๐ธ
And a big thanks to the parade committee for planning a fabulous parade to celebrate America's 2๏ธโฃ4๏ธโฃ8๏ธโฃth birthday with 58 confirmed entriesโฆ which happens to be our town's area code! ๐
Don't miss Corbin Knapp singing the National Anthem at the main stage tomorrow. The parade starts at 10 am with a flyover between 10-10:15. The color guard will stop at the north stage, 90 N Main, for a 21-gun salute and the national anthem. They will then advance to the main stage in front of the Fed for another 21-gun salute and Corbinโs performance.
