The healing process has began, but with this injury its a slow process. Can't return to work for at least 2 months. That's when locked brace can come off and I can start bending. Can't wait to get back to see our Heards BBQ & soul food family. Thanks for your continued support at Heards until I get back because the bills not stopping. Thanking God for Successful Surgery today. Thank you to Dr. Patterson and his staff and the Crew at Shelby Baptist for their care and patience dealing with me as a first time surgery patient. Thanks to everyone that came to the hospital to be with us and everyone for the prayers, calls and messages! I'll be in a locked brace for 2 months to prevent bending while the Quadricep tendon heals at reattchment site. Been a rough month waiting on surgery for myself and my mom. Mom had hip replacement surgery January 2nd and mine today. I couldn't be there but thankfully my family could be. Im so thankful and blessed for the growth through this process!!! My wife and boys have truly taken great care of me while handling the business and the demands of their lives. God bless
