Happy Summer everyone,
I just wanted to jump on here and say we haven’t stopped our mission we started. Hopefully we will have some more help and can be getting episodes out quicker in the next month. We are still tirelessly working on gathering information and interviews with family’s in between working our full time jobs and life. Hey guys!

I just wanted to say thank you for all your shares and likes! The support has been tremendously appreciated. We want to make sure that not only people from Chilton County hear these families story but everyone in a tri-state area hears their stories. The more people that hear the more people likely to come forward with information.

So if you all can please go to the “invite” button on our page and invite anyone and everyone you can that maybe just loves true crime, anyone that may “know somebody that knows somebody”, or possibly someone with a cold case/missing person case that they want us to look into. We want to give these families a voice and the more that listen the more it helps them.

I’m hearing some talk about developments/ new evidence in Patricia Collum’s cold case. A possible arrest even in Chilton Co on April 10th? It is all speculation and word of mouth but We will be continuing to try and find out more information. 34 years after her brutal senseless murder her family deserves justice, PATRICIA deserves justice.

May 5th 2024, our first episode of The Rotten Peach Podcast will be covering Mary Hunton’s disappearance. Mary (Sissy) was last seen on October 27th 2023 in Jemison Alabama. We will be talking with Sissy’s mother starting from the moment her motherly instincts knew something was terribly wrong and what the last 7 months have been like for her and her family looking for answers.

Disclaimer: Suspects/potential suspects in this case will not be directly named. The suspects/potential suspects will be referred to with fake aliases. Parts of the podcast will be purely speculation discussion and some information will be withheld due to this being an ongoing investigation. We do not want to hinder or taint the investigation in anyway.

I spent most of the night last night reading emails, researching public records and what information I can find from my laptop about each case that I was contacted about.

I can’t describe the frustration you feel reading these emails of these family members pleading for help because they’ve gotten nowhere with law enforcement. 7 different emails, 7 different people, 4 different cases, yet all with the same response from the sheriff and law enforcement about finding their loved ones or solving their loved ones murder. It’s disturbing and makes you question why? I can’t wait for y’all to hear their stories yourselves.

I have had an overwhelming response since announcing the podcast. I’m soo thankful to all of you!

A few things I want to address/answer some common questions that have been messaged to me or I’ve seen asked..

1. This is a true crime based podcast. I do have plans to speak on some of the corruption at some point but not at this time until I know legally where I stand, (basically retain a lawyer), there’s a lot of legal/defamation issues that come into play when speaking on “alleged topics”. So please be patient when it comes to that side of things.

2. I will not be talking about the M**h issues in the county. 🤦🏼‍♀️ That should have been a given here but I want to make it clear. Yes I do agree there is a problem but that is not what this podcast is about.

3. Another one that was a given….I will not be talking about Susie down the road cheating on her husband with Mary Jane and Sandy Jo husband. Again LEGAL issues but not only that I’m trying to reach a bigger demographic than just chilton co drama. Please quit asking or assuming that this is what we are doing😂🙃

4. We will talk about cases in surrounding counties as well here and there. It will be “Based in Chilton Co” but I know there’s a lot more missing persons/ cold cases out there and I want to try to help those families as well.

Hello Chilton county,
I’m so excited to start this journey with all of you. We will be going down some pretty dark rabbit holes searching for truth, understanding and hopefully justice in some cases.

I know that this will ruffle some feathers. Especially of those that have tirelessly tried to keep some of these cases swept under the rug.

This Podcast will only speak truth and search for the facts for the cold cases/missing persons cases. And will only speak facts about cases that are solved.

I look forward to shedding light in hopes to give peace to victims families and give them reassurance that not everyone has forgotten.

Although we will mostly be focused on missing persons cases, cold cases and solved murders in the county. We will also be talking about the corruption that this good ole boy town tries to justify(at some point) once we look more into the legal standpoint and issues.
