The final proof for SUFFERING THE OTHER looked great, and I have ordered books from the printer! I will have a small quantity on hand this Sunday at Sinister Book Fair in Sacramento, and will begin shipping orders and contributor copies next week.

Limited edition paperbacks still available on the DS web store. Trade paperbacks coming soon-ish to most online booksellers, including heroes like Bookshop.org and villains like The Big A. All proceeds after production costs will be split between Transgender Law Center and National Immigration Project.

(Background music by Ak'chamel, The Giver of Illness live set on KEXP.)

I will be vending at Sinister Book Fair in Sacramento this Sunday. Kinda last minute, but a great opportunity to sell some copies of benefit anthology SUFFERING THE OTHER. I'll also have copies of everything else currently in stock, plus some books from my personal collection that could use new homes. (Anyone looking for a very rare copy of Ligotti's BORN TO FEAR?)

I just submitted the final files for SUFFERING THE OTHER, and I should have a proof in 7-10 days. If it looks good (and I expect it will), I’ll order the full print run. That would keep us on track for late September/early October shipping.

Reminder, this weird fiction anthology is a benefit for Transgender Law Center and National Immigration Project. Pre-orders are fairly low so far, please share this link far and wide:

A lot of good things coming soon so I’m back on this damned hellsite. The first one is Rhiannon Rasmussen’s debut collection THE MAIDENS OF MIDNIGHT, one of the stronger debuts I’ve read. Don’t just take my word for it, here is what the legendary Brian Evenson has to say.
