The Pickaway County Historical Society (PCHS) maintains the Clarke-May House as a museum with parts of the house furnished with artifacts of Pickaway County during the Victorian era.
Through out the house, you will find a time line of the communities history starting with the Moundbuilders and the earthworks that gave Circleville it’s name and moving through the Native American history that is so rich in our area.
The Clarke-May Museum is the headquarters of the Pickaway County Historical Society, which also maintains Mount Oval Historical House and Farm.
Whether you’ve lived in the area for many years or you are a new resident, there’s something new to see and learn!
