Lab Animal Tech
The Laboratory Animal Medical Services (LAMS) department in the Office of Research at the University of Cincinnati is seeking to fill multiple Lab Animal Tech positions. The successful candidate may be appointed to a LAT 1 or LAT 2 based on qualifications, experience, and skills. This position will provide food, water, and basic husbandry care; observe animals to assess health, change cages, and provide support cleaning and/or sanitizing caging equipment. If you love caring for animals, are customer service driven, have good communication skills and organizational skills, have self-starting abilities, effective troubleshooting and problem solving, and want to be a part of a highly talented and committed team, this may be the job for you.
LAMS has a flexible start time, overtime pay availability, and an Upward Mobility program that allows you to be promoted when eligible to the next level with a pay increase.
