Last week, released the 'Like Me' video that we worked with them to produce. We had such an incredible time crafting the creative, assembling the team, and making it all come to life. We're very thankful for the partnership with Catlea and all of the amazing artists and technicians that came out and put their personal touch on this piece. With a degree from SCAD and esteemed carpentry skills, Mike DeMaria is a multidisciplinary artist whose passion is educating the next generation on all things arts and science.

Mike has vast experience in creating Museum Exhibits, and large whimsical installments for events such as BLINK. His talents don't stop there. Mike started his own business - Mary Works Design and Carpentry- a collective of artists, craftspersons, and makers with over 20+ years of experience in Custom Fabrication, Scenic/Mural Painting, Sculpting and Designing.

His team's creations can be found in film, theatre, museums, public art, touring roadway shows, major theme parks, cruise ships, and more.

Mike is known for his child-like spirit and huge heart, making him easy and fun to work with. For Mike, the bigger and more fantastical the creation, the better!

We just got back from another job on the East coast, which reminded us of our time filming in Philadelphia with on their patient journey video.
-
We spent 2 days capturing our patient at 'home' and her time in a clinic, receiving care from a licensed Neurostar practitioner. We worked quickly to capture as many storyline setups as possible - all tied together by our fantastic spokesperson delivering a script direct-to-camera. We're very proud of how seamlessly this piece came together.

In the midst of this random warm spell, we're reminded of a particularly frigid spot we produced with our friends at Velvet Hammer Branding for . We traveled to Minocqua, WI to capture ice fishing and snow mobile riding on a frozen lake. You know you're 'out there' when the call sheet address is a set of GPS coordinates. We got some incredible shots and had a blast doing it!

Talent, crew, and locations all delivered on the day and our stellar post team knocked the edit out of the park. We had so much fun bringing this creative to life!

Our core team is multi-talented, but we frequently reach to our incredible roster of skilled contractors to round out our capabilities, depending on the project. We want to take a moment to throw some love back to a few of our regular collaborators as a way to say 'THANK YOU!' First up is Andrea Vieth, MUA!

Andrea has been having a blast working as a professional make-up artist and licensed esthetician for the last 20+ years, and BIG has been grateful that she has graced our sets for over half that time!

Andrea strives to educate herself on the latest makeup trends and techniques, while advocating for the use of organic and safe skincare products and cosmetics.

Andrea has created beauty and SFX looks for movies, TV, music and more - working with heavy hitters such as Paul McCartney, Billy Zane and Faye Dunaway. However, you’d never know it due to her humbleness and ability to connect with all types of personalities.

While she can no doubt craft stunning beauty looks worthy of a Disney Princess, her passion lies in creating jaw-dropping blood and gory special effects. Need a severed head? She’s your girl! With Halloween just around the corner, we thought this was the perfect time to give Andrea a well-deserved shout out. Thank you Andrea for helping us achieve our creative pursuits!

Enjoy this peek behind the scenes of our broadcast campaign for . We built three different kitchens and three different bathrooms in a warehouse on the west side of Cincinnati. We needed a place that we could own for more than a month as everything was designed, assembled, captured, and torn down. We’re thrilled with the results and we had a ton of fun collaborating with our friends at Signature Hardware!

No matter how many challenging variables are thrown our way… we pivot, adapt, find creative solutions, and overall… we enjoy the process.

Woah, it’s been a minute! The team at Big Media has been firing on all cylinders for the last few months. We’ve had productions in the snow in Wisconsin, on top of buildings in DC, in medical offices in Philadelphia, on built sets in our beautiful hometown of Cincinnati …. and so many more.
