Love this!❤️😋This recipe was first published in 1936 in the The Daily Oklamohan paper! My Nana made it for my dad when he was a kid and it's still his favorite treat. It's not caramel, it's not fudge... it's something all its own! I make great fudge, and when I put this out with my fudge, NO ONE eats the regular fudge and this is gone in minutes. Simple Caramel Cookies are easy to make, and filled with aromatic vanilla and sweet caramel, this recipe makes a wonderful tasting treat!

INGREDIENTS:
▢9 tablespoons butter
▢1 tablespoon cream or whole milk
▢½ cup granulated white sugar
▢1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
▢1 teaspoon vanilla extract
▢1½ cups all purpose flour
▢1 teaspoon baking soda

Last night during our annual Director’s Circle Dinner we honored Richard “Dick” Rosenthal with the 2023 Cincinnati Art Award in recognition of his family’s contributions to the arts in Cincinnati and beyond.

The significant contributions to the museum of Dick Rosenthal and his family reflect a commitment to sharing works of art, making art widely accessible and fostering creativity. Most notably, this year marks the 20th anniversary of a generous gift from the Rosenthal Family Foundation that permanently provided free, daily general admission to all visitors.

This summer, you can enjoy a new exhibition drawn from the collection of the Rosenthal family.
