THE WORST FIRST DATE EVER OR A HILARIOUS STORY OF HOW I FELL IN LOVE WITH MY WIFE.
I was in college, just starting my sophomore year, when I met Gemma. One weekend, Gemma had a group project on campus and asked if I wanted to hang out afterward. I'm a single dad to two little girls, 4 and 5 years old. My wife left us to travel the world. Being a single dad is tough because, besides working, I have to cook, take them to daycare, and take care of them at home. They mean the world to me, but I'm often wiped out.
Recently, I woke up as usual, got my daughters dressed, and went to the kitchen to pour milk over their oatmeal. MY GREEDY IN-LAWS TRIED TO GET RID OF MY SICK MOM, BUT SHE EXCELLENTLY TAUGHT THEM A LESSON.

MY SON’S BIRTHDAY RUINED MY PERFECT MARRIAGE.
“You have a perfect family!” I heard it like a billion times. Well, I also thought so, until my son’s birthday.
Decorations, snacks, friends, and family – it was all just fine for my little son Kevin. But somehow, he was still so wretched all day...
Anyway, it was time for him to blow out the candles. Everyone gathered around, waiting for his birthday wish. And my son finally said it out loud, with tears in his eyes. Everyone shut up and was shocked to realize WHAT EXACTLY HE WISHED FOR. I was frightened as well... Only a second later, I took my son away, finally calming him in the kitchen. “He’s just a kid, he had no clue what he was talking about... I guess.” That’s what I told myself.

"My name is Catherine, sir," Catherine replied trembling. "I-I was hired only two weeks ago, so I haven't been around for very long."
"OK, well, just for you to know, you're fired, Catherine!" Nathan announced blatantly. "Come tomorrow and collect your severance pay, and yeah, I'll sign your termination letter!"
"What? Please, sir," She looked up at him, pleading. "I-I will be more careful! I beg you, don't fire me! How about I-I work off the restaurant's expenses to pay for the customer's lunch?"
"Out of the question!" Nathan leaned back in his chair, scanning her, noticing her shaking hands and frail figure.
"How old are you, Catherine? 60? 65?" he sighed. "Look, I don't care who hired you, but we don't need waiters this age, alright? You're TOO OLD, got it?! Someone like you can turn off customers. Out of my office. NOW!"
Nathan didn't even notice the tears in Catherine's eyes or how her face fell as she walked out of his office.
