Serendipity perhaps being what it is, as a result of working with Joel Meadows to get his review of Nikolas Everhart's fantasy novel Heartmaster, we've become big supporters of his fantastic magazine Tripwire as well as his new Sherlock Holmes graphic novel. Joel's a great fellow. We mostly regal each other with tales of the latest bad weather in England and Cincinnati. 😀

Last year we were told about a formatting program called Atticus. It's not fancy-schmanzy and it has limitations, but it gets the job done. It's designed primarily with independent authors in mind, but it sure works for a small independent press, too.
