Offering an array of audio services; helping local artists & musicians take their projects from an idea to their completion and release. After spending years in the music business, I received the opportunity to pursue a full time music career in my hometown Chocowinity, NC. Our nearby city (Greenville, NC) was becoming a plethora for local and
statewide talent, as well as its surrounding towns and counties. After years away from home, it had become a totally new place, flourishing with art and music. The problem I found was that few of these artists & musicians had any professional or finished material to show.
This was the first reason “Dixon Recording Co.” was created. I sought to offer an array services including: audio recording, music production, composition, mixing & mastering, audio repair, sound design, live sound, audiobook recording, and songwriting. Even live music from our local list of musicians (weddings, private parties/events). The second thing I saw the need for was marketing. A subject that sounds simple, yet, often gets executed so poorly by creative individuals. Most, just have no clue where to begin. This is where we can help. Whether its social media marketing, emailing, finding creative outlets to connect with others, running ads, or promotion of your music and projects; we want to help. We can even help with booking for solo artists/bands, as well as promotion on our very own accounts. The third and goal that we sought to accomplish was to create a network of local artists, musicians, venues, and professionals. A good network of likeminded individuals within the same industry is vital in the entertainment industry. No matter who you are or where you live. Our goal is to help you connect to professionals locally, and to find a service that works for you if ours do not meet your needs 100%
