With immense sadness and a heavy heart, I must report that the Riverside County Sheriff's Office has lost another deputy in a line of duty death.

Deputy Timothy Corlew, assigned to the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station, was involved in an on-duty traffic accident on January 8, 2025.

What a beautiful sun-filled day to drive around Mira Loma in a stolen Honda with your bestie, sipping on gas station beverages!!! Unfortunately for them, Jurupa SET Deputy Butler was cruising through the area, and quickly recognized the vehicle to be stolen.

The driver was arrested for possessing a stolen vehicle and possession of methamphetamine. The vehicle was returned to its rightful owner.

Attention Eastvale Residents!

Starting January 13, 2025, the City will permanently remove the existing left-turn pocket into Baron Drive at the intersection of River Road and Baron Drive as part of our ongoing improvements. This change is designed to enhance traffic flow and improve safety in the area by reducing illegal turns.

Key Details:

- Location: Baron Drive and River Road
- Reason for Change: Safety Improvements
