Bidwell Mansion was destroyed by fire in the early morning hours of December 11, 2024. The nearly 160 year-old structure, built by early California pioneer, John Bidwell in 1865, and currently undergoing renovations when the fire destroyed the historic building.
There are plans underway to rebuild or memorialize the structure. North Valley Community Foundation has dedicated fundraising efforts.
