The area of 9th and Frisco Avenue in Chickasha is still without water service. City officials indicate they are getting parts needed for repairs and hope to have service restored this afternoon.

There is a water main break affecting a Chickasha neighborhood. It’s in the 900 block of Frisco Avenue a few blocks north of Choctaw Avenue. Households may have no or low-water pressure.

AMBER ALERT
Oklahoma Highway Patrol has issued an amber alert for three missing girls.

Tiffany Barron (9), Daniela Barron Benitez (10), Mia Barron 6), were last seen in Canadian Co. on June 6 with their non-custodial father, Daniel Barron Rodriguez.

According to OHP, Rodriguez is possibly headed to Mexico with the children and is known to have violent tendencies.

Tiffany Barron was last seen wearing a white shirt and flowered pants. Tiffany is approximately four feet, four inches and 70 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Daniela Barron Benitez was last seen wearing blue overalls. Daniela is approximately four feet, nine inches tall and 80 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Mia Barron was last seen wearing a flowered dress. Mia is approximately three feet, four inches tall and 35 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

OHP says they were last seen in a 2012 Ford Expedition with an Oklahoma plate PEQ929.

🚨Missing from Chickasha, OK: Jacob Mayhew, 24 - person of interest in a triple homicide in Chickasha🚨

5/11/24, 5:08pm Update:
The Chickasha Police Department, alongside OSBI, are investigating a triple homicide at a residence located on 6th Street and Washington in Chickasha, Oklahoma. They are actively seeking 22-year-old Jacob Mayhugh as a person of interest. If you have any information or know the whereabouts of Jacob Mayhew, please contact OSBI at [email protected] or call 1-800-522-8017.

Jacob was supposed to be en route to his parents’ home a mile away but never arrived and has not been seen ever since. He was last seen in Chickasha, Oklahoma around 4:30pm on May 10, 2024, leaving in his tan 2000 GMC Yukon SUV (OK Tags 110) around Almar Dr & St Fourth St.

Jacob is described as a Caucasian male standing at 5’8, weighing 135 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing jeans and a shirt at the time of his disappearance.
