Traveling with kids might seem tough—especially when it’s a transatlantic flight, with a 3-month-old baby, 3 kids, and everyone gets jet-lagged. Twice.
But it is SO worth it!
I hope my kids carry these memories in their hearts, just like I do:
• Friends ❤️ and their friends. So many laughs, hugs, stories, cooking sessions, and exploring Spanish traditions together.
• Getting stuck in Cuenca Cathedral for a couple of hours. The kids got super curious about Jesus, the apostles, suffering, and torture. So many deep questions were discussed.
• The beach, the sea. It wasn’t super warm, but playing in the sand and water, feeling it under our feet, was magical. And having friends there made it even more joyful.
• Strolling through beautiful towns. The streets were filled with history, colors, textures, and stories. Sharing these feelings and discoveries with loved ones? Priceless.
• Hiking. How could we not? Climbing hills turned into a trip highlight for everyone.
• The food! Gelato, fresh fruits and veggies, turrón, Spanish Christmas cake, fish, paella… every meal felt like an adventure.
Usually, 10 days pass by in the blink of an eye when living your everyday life. But when you travel, those 10 days feel like a lifetime. A chance to see the world, try new things, grow, and deepen your connection with the people you love most.
