Call of Duty | The Replacer

The iconic Call of Duty: Black Ops franchise has brought back its irreverent mascot, The Replacer, for a hilarious new campaign. This time, the deadpan character, played by Peter Stormare, is taking over everything from chores to celebrity roles, all to let gamers dive deep into the highly anticipated Black Ops 6, which is available to play now.

Collaborating once again with the team behind Deadpool 2, Method delivered a visually stunning opening sequence. Working closely with Director Shawn Levy and Producer Ryan Reynolds, the teams at Method, led by Executive Creative Director John Likens, crafted a high-octane sequence that seamlessly integrates action, comedy, and iconic choreography with the on-screen credits. With Deadpool's signature humor and NSYNC's catchy tune, this opening sequence is a standout moment, with many saying it's the best opening sequence to any super hero film.

From molecular biology to VFX magic! 🧬 Meet Ivan Guerrero, VFX Supervisor at Method Studios, who's making a mark in the visual effects industry. 🎬✨

In a recent interview with Little Black Book, Ivan shares his journey from studying genetics at Harvard Medical School to becoming a key figure in the VFX industry. After studying 3D animation at the University of Colorado in the early 2000s, Ivan transitioned into his childhood passion for VFX and CGI. His career took off in New York, where he honed his CGI and asset management skills at Curious Pictures, Framestore, MPC, and others.

We're excited to announce a trio of new leadership hires at Method Studios! 👏

Robert Mulligan has been appointed executive producer at our New York location alongside co-executive producer Blake Rice, and Josh Hamilton has been named executive producer in Los Angeles.

Jesse Kurnit, EVP and global managing director of Method Studios, is enthusiastic about the company's new leadership additions. "We are so excited to welcome Robert, Blake, and Josh to the Method family," Kurnit stated. "They bring an incredible amount of knowledge and experience to our team and have already begun making significant contributions.
