Our goal is to sustain a community of student filmmakers and raise awareness about media oriented projects and opportunities. We help produce features, shorts, music videos and spots on digital and film formats.

Since the fall, Fire Escape has been working on 8 excellent short films that will be premiering on Saturday, January 20 at the Max Palevsky (Doc Films) Cinema in Ida Noyes Hall (1212 E. 59th St.).
The premiere will be free for all to attend!
12:30 pm - 1:30 pm: Free, catered reception!

First up: Grace McLeod! Join us on Zoom at 6:30pm CST (LINK IN BIO FOR ZOOM AND MORE INFO) to hear from Grace, a professional playwright and film screenwriter. Grace's film "Under the Table" premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2014, and her experimental piece "Local/Express" was screened across Times Square as part of the Midnight Moments Series, the world’s largest digital public art program viewed nightly by millions. In the world of playwriting, Grace received the Olga and Paul Menn Foundation Prize for Playwriting as a graduating senior. Grace is currently producing a podcast series with Jessica Fisch titled "Two Truths and a Lie" being developed by Temple Hill Entertainment. She also has feature film projects in the works with Hartbeat Productions and Picturestart.
