Long weekend photo dump! We went to see The Bikeriders at Alamo Drafthouse Chicago and loved it! (Austin Butler and Tom Hardy in a story about a motorcycle gang set in the late 60’s in Chicago) and it had a cool soundtrack too! Gorgeous weather, rooftop perfect 👍

and I went back to Los Angeles for the first time in six years to say goodbye to our friend Franz. It was a send off that he would have absolutely loved. Joyous, loud, funny, and heartfelt. There were performances, and tributes, and shouting and laughing and singing. There were Franz’s t-shirts, acquired over years and years of going to see bands, hanging in the back of the venue. It was perfect. I will post more later but for now, here are a few pics from the trip. Anywhere you are, and where ever you go, it’s always the people that matter the most. Always. ❤️

I bet I’ve walked down this sidewalk on Wabash across from Macys downtown a thousand times, and am only seeing this little patch of mosaic tile in the cement beneath my feet today for the first time. It both surprised and delighted me. Wonder what else I’ve missed!
