I LET A HOMELESS WOMAN STAY IN MY GARAGE – ONE DAY, I WALKED IN WITHOUT KNOCKING

I'm 61, a millionaire by inheritance, but despite the wealth, my life felt empty. My parents died when I was 20, leaving me with a luxurious estate but no one to share it with. Women came and went, but I always felt they were after my money, so I never built a family.

One day, I saw a fragile woman rummaging through garbage. Despite her situation, her eyes held resilience. Compassion hit me.

I WENT TO PICK UP MY WIFE AND NEWBORN TWINS FROM THE HOSPITAL — I ONLY FOUND THE BABIES AND A NOTE.

I can't explain the excitement I felt as I drove to the hospital to bring Suzie and our newborn twin daughters home. I had spent the past few days decorating the nursery, cooking a big family dinner, and planning the perfect welcome. I even picked up balloons on the way. But when I arrived, my excitement turned into confusion.

Suzie wasn't there. I just found our two sleeping daughters and a note.

My hands shook as I unfolded it: "Goodbye. Take care of them. Ask your mother WHY she did this to me."

I froze, rereading it over and over. What the hell did this mean? Where was Suzie?

I asked the nurse, my voice trembling. "Where's my wife?"

"She checked out this morning," the nurse said hesitantly. "She said you knew."

Knew? I had no clue. I drove home with the twins, my mind racing, replaying every moment of Suzie's pregnancy. She seemed happy — or was I blind?

When I got home, my mom was there, smiling and holding a casserole. "Oh, let me see my grandbabies!"

Recently, my husband and I became parents, and honestly? It’s been a nightmare! Every time I lay our baby in his crib, he starts screaming nonstop, day and night. I’ve tried everything—different lullabies, rocking him for hours, white noise machines, even swaddling tricks I found online—but nothing seems to help. I’ve been running on fumes, barely sleeping, barely thinking straight.

I TOOK IN A FORTUNE TELLER WITH A NEWBORN—IN THE MORNING I DIDN'T FIND MY SICK LITTLE DAUGHTER IN HER ROOM
I live in a house outside the city. Recently, I was coming home from work one evening when I saw a woman lying on the roadside, asking for help. She was dressed quite oddly. As I got closer, I noticed she looked like a typical fortune teller from a fair.
The woman was pregnant—and in labor. Luckily, I’m a surgeon. Though not an obstetrician, I knew I had to act quickly. Right there on the roadside, I helped her deliver her baby.
Do you have somewhere to go? I asked, handing her the crying newborn wrapped in a towel I found in my car. She had nowhere to go; she explained that she had run away from a husband who treated her badly.
Feeling sorry for her, I offered her a room in my house, as I have a large house where only I and my six-year-old daughter live. My daughter recently broke her leg in a fall from her bicycle and was on bed rest at home, with a nanny looking after her while I worked.
The woman, whose name was Miranda, thanked me and gratefully accepted my help. I drove her to my house and showed her a spacious room where she and her baby could stay. I also made sandwiches, and we had dinner together.
The next morning, I got up to check on my daughter, but her room was empty. Worried, I began calling her name. There was no answer. Then I went to Miranda’s room. When I opened the door, I began to cry. "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?" I asked Miranda.⬇️

For months, every Saturday, my husband Mike would take our kids, Ava (7) and Ben (5), to visit his mom. He'd grown closer to her since his dad passed, so I didn't question it.
