Halloweekend

HEY! If you like THE WHO, come out this Saturday Oct. 26th to Reggies in Chicago (2105 S. State Street) to see and hear THE SLUFFS performing a banger set of THE WHO for Halloween weekend. The Sluffs with two members of The Handcuffs (Brad as Moon, Chloe as Daltrey) and guest 'Cuff, Carolyn Engelmann on keys (who is also playing in The Ready Freddies). Also, two members of The Slugs (Dag as Pete and Gregg as "The Ox") start the evening at 8pm sharp. Followed by Supercreeps playing a set of BOWIE and The Ready Freddie's playing a set of QUEEN. Come early, grab a table, order some dinner from Reggie's menu and have a night! Doors at 7pm and don't be late! We're playing only one set at 8pm sharp.
*The Sluffs had a fun final rehearsal last night and the set list has fun/rockin' Who selections like, "Pictures Of Lily" "Pinball Wizard" "Long Live Rock" and a few deep cuts like "Little Billy" Legal Matter" "I Can't Reach You" and much more. It’s an impressive feat, to record such a strong set of songs and put it out as your fifth album, but it is absolutely the best one by The Armoires yet. Octoberland is simply a really enjoyable record." Christina's vocals get singled out with comparisons to Kirsty MacColl, Debbie Harry, and Kate Pierson, and nods to everyone from The Wonder Stuff to The Beautiful South, Fairport Convention and early T.
