There are a lot of mother figures in my life and I love every single one of them. One thing that does hurt knowing is that I went all my life other than the first two months of it without my biological mother on this planet. She was taken away from me by sickness months after she had me. She has never seen a birthday, a graduation, my first steps, the day I got my license, my accomplishments, none of it. But I will continue to walk this earth praising her as she is the almighty queen that I will deeply miss. This is a type of pain that is unexplainable and I hope no one is going through this. Losing a mom is hard and when all you can think is “what if she was still here” but never had the chance in the first place…. That one hits different.

I still want to wish every mother out there a happy Mother’s Day! This day is for you 💜 love your mothers while you still have them because you may be able to find a lot of mother figures but you really only get one mom!
