Commissioner Lowry shared details about his upcoming Men's Health Fair, offering free health screenings. Don't miss this important community event on Thursday, September 26, from 5 to 8 p.m. at 6320 Dorchester Ave., Chicago. Dr. Ansell discussed the impactful work Rush, Equal Hope, and the new Sankofa Wellness Center are doing to close life expectancy gaps between downtown residents and those living in West Side communities.

Congratulations to Jeffrey Sterling,MD, MPH, Chief Executive Officer of Simpco Illinois, for receiving the inaugural Robert J. Dale Lifetime Achievement Award at the 19th Annual Illinois State Black Chamber of Commerce convention. This award recognizes outstanding achievements, contributions, support above and beyond the call of duty, and exemplary leadership.

Bob Dale was a titan in the business community, and like him, Dr. Sterling continues to inspire and uplift us all.
