The Path to True Leadership (www.charleslgill.com) – PEOPLE LEAVE PEOPLE NOT COMPANIES.

Becoming a leader of people is not about you! It is about the people that work for and with you. Leadership is not learned through osmosis, and you must become educated, practice, and measure a leader’s performance based on their engagement with people.

It’s tough to lead people when you are selfish don’t have confidence in yourself as a person or as a leader.

A Microsoft study finds 41% of workers may quit this year, while business leaders are “out of touch.”

Woodlawn Diversity in Action is partnering with Jessie ‘MA’ Houston Park Advisory Council (my neighborhood and I’m a board member) to launch a mural project honoring Timuel D. Black, Rosie Simpson, and Rev. Helen “Queen Mother” Sinclair. We want to thank ComEd for donating their building in the park and the Chicago Association of Realtor’s generous donation.
