The late James “Joe” Janson Sr. spent many years serving up delicious food as owner of Janson’s Drive-In. The business meant a lot to Janson, from getting to work with his family, interact with local residents, and meet the love of his life, Maureen.

“I came in for lunch, and I was waiting in line to place my order. I saw him, and we looked at each other, and that was it for me. I knew I was going to marry that man.”

James “Joe” Janson Sr. spent many years in the heart of Beverly connecting with many local residents who he served as owner of Janson’s Drive-In, 9900 S. Western Ave.
