“Wine Through Time”, which we shared last week, presented several creative and technical challenges—one being how to keep the audience fully engaged and immersed while the dining staff served each wine and cheese pairing. Our solution: seven unique interludes that cycle indefinitely, bridging the storyline between animated sequences.
In this clip, a shimmering CG koi pond spans the entire table. We achieved this effect by animating a single place setting, then seamlessly tiling it with neighboring settings to create the illusion of one large pond, with koi swimming across the table. At the same time, serene scenes of ancient China unfold on the walls, setting a tranquil, enchanting atmosphere.

We teamed up with Pepper Jack Productions / Kelham Vineyards to create our most immersive project yet—a breathtaking and whimsical animated journey through time to discover how wine came to Napa Valley.
As guests savor exquisite wine and cheese pairings, they’re immersed in a feature-length cinematic storytelling experience that takes them on a journey around the world. Panoramic 3D animation wraps the walls from floor to ceiling, transporting viewers to ancient lands, while miniature historical figures come to life on the tables, sharing the fascinating stories behind each region’s contributions to winemaking.
