Grammy winner and global South African superstar Tyla has officially joined the Nike family

Tyla debuted a new colorway of Nike’s newest Air Max shoe, the Air Max Dn8, in New Orleans during Super Bowl LIX weekend and this is what she had to say on working with Nike:

“I mean, I’m a Nike girl. I love the brand. I’m really excited to work together, not only to wear the clothes but to hopefully create something with the team too. Maybe a Tyla shoe? That would be fire.”

President-elect Donald Trump revealed to NBC News that he’s “most likely” granting TikTok a 90-day reprieve from a potential U.S. ban as he steps into office on Monday.

“I think that would be, certainly, an option that we look at. The 90-day extension is something that will be most likely done, because it’s appropriate. You know, it’s appropriate. We have to look at it carefully. It’s a very big situation,” Trump said in the phone interview.

The decision could come as early as Monday. The app might still is currently facing a brief blackout before a resolution is finalized.

The Biden administration has decided not to enforce the TikTok ban set to take effect this Sunday, leaving the decision to the incoming Trump administration.

The way the law works, the president is allowed to a one-time extension to delay the TikTok ban for up to 90 days, but only if three specific conditions are met:

1. TikTok must prove it’s actively working to separate from its Chinese owner, ByteDance.
2. There needs to be clear progress toward selling the app.
3. That progress must be finalized with legal agreements.

So far, there’s no sign that any of these conditions have been met.

If these conditions are not met, companies like Google and Apple could face fines of up to $5,000 per user if they keep offering TikTok after the ban.

With over 170 million U.S. users every month, TikTok’s future in the U.S. is still unclear.
