The short film we worked on recently was created for the Musicbed Challenge and we just found out we made it to round of the 15 finalists. While the judges make their votes, they also have an AUDIENCE CHOICE which is based on people voting.

And here it is! Without further ado, here is our film for this year's Four Points Film Project! Much like the 48 Hour Film Project, we had limited time (77 hours) to write, film, edit, and submit a short film! We're given some required elements and genres are randomly assigned to our team. This year, we decided to kick it up a notch and film entirely on an old Panasonic VHS camera!
Genre: Western or Psychic Powers (we dabbled with both)
Character: Chevy or Cheryl Heaslett, who is a safety inspector
Prop: Uncooked spaghetti noodles
Line of dialogue: "That person over there is up to something"

Last weekend, we were crazy enough to do another timed film competition. This time, instead of 48 hours with the 48 Hour Film Project - Chicago, we had 77 hours and it was an international contest with the Four Points Film Project! We took the extra time to challenge our team even more and took a much different approach to the other films we've put out - why not do the entire thing on VHS?? Even better - let's use an old VHS camcorder that doesn't have batteries, so we have to keep it plugged in! The result ended with a fun, challenging, and creative night of filming!
We'll be sharing the movie tomorrow, but for now, here's the official poster done by Kyle Bice (our amazing BTS and Stills Photographer) with finishing touches by our fearless leader Craig Bass.

The Four Points Film Project is officially underway! This time we have 77 hours, until Monday night to submit a finished film!
It's back to real life today, but this past weekend, 32 teams competed in this year's 48 Hour Film Project - Chicago. Our team made through our longest day of shooting ever! We can't share our film publicly yet, but we can share our poster and screening info!
If you'd like to come watch our film (along with some of the others), the screenings will be on November 6th, 9pm at The New 400 Theater. (There are 7pm and 9pm showings, ours will be in the 9pm group)
