Today the Union Pacific launch its 10-state Big Boy Steam No. 4014 Heartland of America tour. The journey begins in its home of Cheyenne.
The last of its kind operating, the Big Boy No. 4014, was one of 25 built for the Pacific Union to conquer the steep grades of Utah's Wasatch Mountain Range during World War II.
Cheyenne Police are asking people to stay away from the area of Nationway and Hot Springs Avenue as city firefighters work to extinguish a fire at Ruben's Metals, 2524 E. Seventh Street.
Smoke is blowing across both directions of Nationway, severely limiting visibility in the area.
