Hello all! Not sure if the whole Facebook world is aware but I accepted a position to be a Technology Education Teacher at Danbury High School next school year. I resigned from Newtown HS, even though it’s been an amazing 5 years there it was time to move on. Added bonus is that Nicholas and I get to work together and take one car and our classrooms are across the hall from each other!!

Danbury is a much more inner city district than Newtown and with much less funding.

If we’re talking about funding teachers and schools and supporting each other, it starts with the students.

Our students should be spoiled rotten. They should have all the resources and things they need to creatively expand their minds, and just focus on learning.

Because learning is joyful and it shouldn’t be weighted down by whether we have the resources to support their dreams or not.
