Happy National Ava Day & 7th Bark-Day to our feisty, moody, and utterly adoraBULL red pittie AVA! 🎉🐾

From being overlooked at the Chesapeake Animal Services shelter for weeks to paws-itively stealing our hearts (and Vince’s peace & quiet), Ava’s journey is one for the tail-wagging history books. ❤️ She went from being mine & Page's first dog we took out on a Snout & About to get her adopted back in 2019 to get her adopted as a heartworm positive dog that was a pit bull with a moody side to our dog. Her Instagram Feature Story started... ‘There’s Something About Ava’ and ended if you don't adopt her then Vince is gonna have a sister. Fast forward 6 weeks later to 'Vince, Meet Your New Sister’ —whether he liked it or not! 😆

Ava was one of Page’s favorites, and in her honor, she became the cover star of Pit Bulls in Pajamas From A-Z, keeping Page’s love for underdogs alive. Today, we celebrate Ava’s resilience, sass, and chaos, and we’ll never stop cheering for pups like her.
