We are so excited to begin working with this impressive group of The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Communications students, who will be helping us plan and execute our second annual Be My Neighbor Day event this semester! The students will get a hands-on, real-life learning experience with a non-profit in their community, and we'll get the unique opportunity to learn from their experiences and expertise. As hard as it is to say goodbye, we are overjoyed that Cindye will have more time to spend with her family and on her many hobbies and talents in her exciting next chapter! Henry Louis Gates, Jr. is back with an all-new series on January 28, and we're partnering with our friends at Bessie Smith Cultural Center and Chattanooga Public Library to bring you an opportunity to preview the series before it airs!

Great Migrations: A People on the Move explores the transformative impact of Black migration on American culture and society. Get a sneak peek at the 4-part series on Tuesday, January 21 at The Bessie Smith Cultural Center.

The Chattanooga Public Library's local history & genealogy department will also be sharing resources and engaging with attendees about how the library can help them explore their own family migration stories.
