TechTunes provides hands-on training for students at Utopian Academy for the Arts High School in Morrow.

The TechTunes program aims to equip students with a deeper understanding of advancements in music and entertainment technology, helping them prepare for careers in the rapidly evolving industry.

We officially kicked off our master class cohort with some seriously awesome students from all over Chattanooga!

These students will work with an artist to fully produce and release a handful of songs over the next eight weeks.

Keep an eye out for more collaborations between Songbirds and Dynamo in the near future!

So last night we get a call… “hey man the tour has two days off in ATL leading up to the show, can we come up to Chatt to hang with the kids and cut some records?”

And just like that, the full tour band for Rod is at Howard Connect Academy chopping it up with the kids.

Days like today are how you move the needle for students and make a real difference in the world.

This is what it’s all about. The absolute top of the top musicians in the game coming through ON THEIR DAY OFF to pour into students. It’s a beautiful thing to see.

After that the team cut records for an absolute LEGENDARY artist at the studio where more students were able to participate in the session. We can’t really share much about that artist yet, but we will soon 😁)

Shout out to my absolute dawg for putting this together and shout out to Marshawn Sims for leading the class so well.

It was so awesome getting to support the Girls In Gear program today with and our ATL team!

Less than 21% of music industry professionals are women (only 3.4% of producers are women).

As a dad of two girls, I hope that one day we can balance those numbers out.
