A Mother Like No Other Chattanooga Winner!
💐"She loves fiercely, works hard, and has made me the man I am today."
Kenneth Ivins took the time to enter his mother in the Mother like No Other Giveaway. Tom and Tabi had the privilege of calling Kenneth to hear his story and let him know that his mother was our winner! We are so grateful to St Francis Cottage, Zen Nails Spa, and Massage Envy for making this giveaway possible.

Girls Singing Praise
--Day 3 of Tabi's India Adventure --
On our last day, a couple of us were finally allowed to ride a rickshaw. I had requested this since day one! This is a small vehicle made from a motor scooter. I loved it! We weaved in and out of traffic and arrived saftely at the train station. We took a train to our destination that day since the crowds weren’t as bad as normal since it was a national holiday. The streets were busy with parades, cars, and around the train stations there was a small market with spices, teas, fruits and other food for sale.
At the first India Partners Safe House, we encountered an eager group of young girls waiting on us to arrive. We were impressed with their command of English, a second language for them, their bright and cheerful countenances, and their willingness to engage with us, singing for us and showing us their artwork. The homes were clean and well maintained with bunk beds, play areas, etc. The mothers have supervised visitation with them.
At the older girls’ home, the girls told us about their dreams for the future. They sang and danced, showed us their decorating skills and artwork as well. They were expressive and engaging. I got henna tattoes on my hands and arms, and it was a fun way to connect with them.
Lastly, we visited a boys home (I didn’t get to do this) and the aging out home, which is very new. This home will help launch the students into adulthood, making sure they are on firm footing to live a life free of trafficking. They attend college or get a job, have the option of attending church, and have some supervision until around age 23. They are finally ready to stand on their own. There were two young ladies, 18 years old, in this new home. They both loved Jesus, though they had been born into Muslim and polytheistic religions. They had poise, confidence, and were thoughtful. They baked us goodies and one asked how she could pray for me. She even quoted scripture to me concerning my health. We hugged and pra
