When I first started this journey, it wasn’t about launching a business, it wasn’t about bridging a gap or fulfilling a purpose. Simply put, my husband and I both faced unemployment at the same time and to be honest I was afraid of that possibility. It was a wake-up call that pushed us to pray and seek out a way to take control of our finances.

I didn’t have all the answers when I began and honestly, I still don’t. But I had determination. I was willing to take the leap, even when I wasn’t sure what was on the other side. And that’s how this journey started. But starting isn’t the hard part—staying is.

So why do I stay? Because starting was just the beginning. The real journey is in the showing up—day after day, through every challenge, milestone, and unexpected twist.

1. I Stay for the Impact:
When I see the difference this jewelry makes in people’s lives, it fills me with a sense of purpose that nothing else can. Whether it’s boosting a customer’s confidence, inspiring them to hold their head high, or to just be authentically and beautifully unapologetic! A team member’s business paying a bill or paying to have a basement renovated or something as simple as being able to buy gas and groceries. Every conversation that starts with “This changed my life” or “This made my day better” is fuel for my fire. And hearing these stories from customers and business partners remind me why my business and what I do matters.

2. I Stay for the Growth:
This journey has stretched me in ways I never imagined. It’s not just about growing a business; it’s about growing as a person. Every mistake has taught me resilience, every success has taught me gratitude, and every lesson has taught me how to lead with purpose. My business has grown, yes, but so have I. I’ve learned to trust my instincts, take risks, and celebrate progress, even the smallest wins.

3. I Stay for the Connections:
One of the greatest joys of this journey has been the people I’ve met along the way. My team, my customers, my mentors, my community, my tribe. They’re the heart of this business. These connections remind me that I’m not just building a business; I’m building relationships. I’m creating something that brings people together and helps them in ways I never could have imagined!

So, I stay for the passion, the people, and the possibility! I stay because this journey is more than just jewelry! I’m building a legacy $5 at a time!

We remember the heartache of those we’ve lost and remembered great memories with them at the same time, and then we celebrated together!
