It is with a heavy heart that We sadly announce today that Copasetic Magazine will cease production & there will be no issue #6 or any further issues in the future.
This was a very hard decision to make, but if you understood our personal circumstances then it would be clear as day that this was an unfortunate but inevitable decision.
Copasetic is/was a small operation that needs 24/7 dedication to even have a chance, and although I was able to give that type of commitment in the past, changes in my personal life have removed that option & I will never have the means to properly create a quality product in the same way moving forward... So it must end.
I would like to sincerely thank each & every one of you that have been apart of this since day one. All we wanted was for the world to rock n roll again & it was an honor & a pleasure to meet all of you like minded folks & attempt to build something that was real & fun.
We hope that our followers will keep the faith & keep supporting the small businesses that supported us like Kyle Cole & Four Up Co, JC Skateboards, The Cookers, Farm Fiend, The Ton Magazine & so many more.
For those who were diehard fans, we thank y'all the most. For real, I thought about y'all throughout the entire decision making process. I always wanted to make y'all laugh & I felt a very serious weight of responsibility to always give y'all the most & best content I could. It was a real experience getting to know & work with so many cool folks all around the world & even tho y'all would throw a curve ball my way occasionally, it was rewarding to see my weird magazine Frankenstein creature embraced by the right folks.
I urge all of you to start your own projects. Find what you love & try to get others to love it too. That's all Ive ever tried to do & I'm sorry, but I can't do it anymore. Rooster Bolan still has copies for sale. oh & just FYI, We looked for others to keep it going but haven't found them. If you think You can produce Copasetic Magazine & are serious, business speaking, then holler at us. I would love to see it continue in some capacity.
The FB/IG pages will stay up for customer support & whatnot for a few more weeks. In case we never meet again, please take this one message away from everything that is/was Copasetic... the mainstream world is absolute s**t & the only way we'll ever have a chance at glory on this earth is to stand up for what we believe in & BE INDEPENDENT FROM THE POPULAR CULTURE. It will always be up to us real ones to help keep the creative human soul experience alive. Listen to your gut. Use logic, reason & common sense. Call your parents. Love each other & never forget that you can change the entire world if you really fu***ng mean it. God bless Y'all. 💔 - Johnny A.
