Freezing temperatures throughout Hamilton County continue to cause icy conditions affecting our roadways. These conditions will continue as temperatures drop overnight into Saturday morning. Please avoid driving if at all possible.

For those who must drive, please slow down and use extra caution while driving on bridges and overpasses, especially on infrequently traveled back roads.

For those who must travel, know what roads are closed before you drive. To view the most current list of road closures, please visit the Hamilton County Emergency Communications District (911) website at https://www.hamiltontn911.gov/active-incidents.php. Once there, scroll down to Active Incidents, click on “All Agency Types” and then select “Road Closure” in the dropdown menu. All current road closures will be listed there.
