Alton Park Development Corporation (APDC) presents the "Civil War" Exhibit at the African-American Education & Heritage Museum. The museum is located in the Chattanooga Civic Center at Mountainside, 701 Ho**er Rd. In celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Day, this Monday, January 20th APDC is sponsoring free admission to the exhibit from 4pm - 6pm.

The exhibit is owned by the America Legion Post 0291 - Scenic City Heroes and features authentic weapons, artifacts and uniforms worn by black Union soldiers. Come visit this historic collection and listen to the presentation from Chattanooga icon/historian, John Edwards, III, owner and founder of the Chattanooga News Chronicle.
