The Buford Middle School football team just finished a 6-1 season and the police department brought food to the team Wednesday evening after they practiced to play Western Albemarle this coming Saturday in the 2024 JDYFL Super Bowl.

Area leaders talk all the time about one of the keys to quashing violent crime that has besieged the area the last few years starts with reaching kids, and Charlottesville Police Chief Mike Kochis told Morning News about a visit he and others just made doing exactly that.
