Tonight 1-3am (Sunday morning if you nasty). Join us as we celebrate Shark Week!

Today marks 5 years since the passing of the great Mark "The Shark" Shelton of Manilla Road, the patron saint of epic metal & one of the most compelling artists in the music's history. On Saturday (Sunday morning) from 1-3am I'll commemorate this anniversary with a special all-Shelton show. This is the most personal special Mr. Owl has done so far & I hope you can tune in.

As we in Virginia & elsewhere brace ourselves for a weekend of extreme heat, I think it's important to note that Shelton was, at least in part, a victim of climate change. He played a show the night before his death where the heat soared above 90F & ended up suffering a fatal heart attack. The consequences of this insane neglect of the planet by plutocrats desperate to keep their profit margins are just beginning to show themselves, & it will only get worse from here. The best way to honor Mark is to follow his example: keep making your art, keep sharing it, keep speaking truth to power, & don't let them take our joy.
