Topic: Mid-rise Lifts

Hey folks I am considering adding a small lift to my garage primarily for the mini. I am looking for some recommendations for brands/models that people have found that fit the mini really well. Does anyone have one that they really love and could recommend?

I do have some limitations in my garage space:
- Low Ceiling (has to be midrise lift, cannot fit big 2 posts)
- Limited "walk around" space for big posts

Some updates for the Tacoma I finished earlier this week. pro roof rack, rear backup lights for the camper, and a deployable antenna for off grid cell boosting. Excited to hit the trail again!

What a beauty. Swapping in some to get some better oil temp and pressure readings, new genuine injectors, and a clutch sensor to setup launch control and other goodies. But couldn’t resist grabbing some glamor shots of this turbo. 🤌🏼

Enlisted some help from a local fabricator here in North Carolina, 8Eight Fab, LLC to modernize my link pipe back exhaust system. BagSport Fabrications did an excellent job on the engine side but my leaky 2in maniflow system needed some help and new modern exhaust hangers instead of the old clamp hanger style and v-band clamps. Super excited about this, now to address the low hanging battery cable.

Dawned on me that I haven’t done a comprehensive set of pictures showing how everything is run in my engine bay. Full drive by wire working flawlessly, around 18psi of boost(power figures to come). No idea why some folks were saying drive by wire wasn’t possible on an A-Series. Works like it was meant to be here the whole time.

Stronger than any other clutch on the market. This is one of our expertly built twin spring clutches using 2 turbo clutch springs. Testing of this clutch puts holding power well over 400ft/lbs. Made for holding insane a-series power.

This clutch is not a road clutch, and will increase the pedal resistance quite substantially, unlike our normal RTS clutches.

First car show with the new engine! Was mostly a good drive over minus this silly cork gasket spraying coolant all over the engine bay. Never trust cork. These s**t gaskets shouldn’t be sold anymore. 🙄

Really pleased with my design engineering heat shield under the hood. Turned out really nicely! And it’s good for reflecting temps up to 1200f so no melty paint on this car from the turbo. 😎

Engine is back in and ready for the dyno. I go over that process as well as talk a bit about turbo kits for the mini. Why I chose the BagSport Fabrications kit over the others and some of the pitfalls with these types of builds! Make sure to stick around for the end for the BEFORE AND AFTERS!
