Where’s my apology too?? As an INDIEpendent artist who rejected all the “traditional” entry into the music industry and remained INDIE, and spoke about all these things too, I was ridiculed and ostracized… at times it’s like I’ve been making music to a completely selectively deaf audience

I spoke out when I was a lead choreographer for Marcus Cox who was managed by a group controlled by Diddy

When they started setting up gigs for us (my dance group - 2 Tite - who were my besties at the time) that were depicting us in a “entertainment” light as opposed to a legitimate performing arts and trained dancer light, I quit and …

They even propositioned me with sexual vulgarity and homosexuality

I remember one specific incident when they offered us a gig to hype the club crowd and creating flyers for us to promote the club …but when they gave us the flyers it listed us as “entertainment” and I was immediately pi**ed

The other dancers (it was 3 of us; summuhyall know who I’m talking about) tried to convince me that it was “no big deal” and that I should focus on the opportunities they were giving us and the money

But I didn’t roll like that and I showed the flyer to my aunt without any explanation to get her knee jerk reaction. I very consistently would seek advice from the elders in my family (summuhyall know how close I was to them … wayyyy more so than even with my own cousins lbh)
And when my aunt said “why are yall listed as entertainment?!”

I was out and didn’t look back

In fact, those who stayed ended up in the adult entertainment industry

So, where’s my apology?!

Doubt I’ll ever get it.

I deserve so much more respect for the ETHICAL work I’ve done with and my longetivity and unrivaled feats as an INDIE artist for now over 20 years despite being blackballed and defamed by even summuh my fellow Greensboro INDIE artist community

The stuff yall don’t know as far as what I’ve endured
But. I. Rose. Above. It.
And still I rise.

Summuh yall beloved Greensboro artists ain’t so beloved (and I’m not talking about Justin lol; much love to him and his wife and their new lil bundle of joy)

We’re waiting on our coins fraudulently gained by the UK band, “Tigress”

No dis to that genre of music but it’s painfully obvious that nobody was checking for them during the pandemic when we had all the streams and views going crazy on all of our platforms Eargasm Records, but then oddly they got blue check verified and we didn’t

The proof is in the views on their platform versus our platforms during that time frame. And yes, I kept records, some of which I’ve posted and submitted to CD Baby and Spotify. Our views were significantly higher. In fact, they couldn’t even compare to ours, and therefore, they not ever earned the blue check they got for verification on social media

Spotify even had our music linked to their music for at least six months so as that when you looked up Tigress, even if you put in Eargasm Records it went to their profile not ours

I had to dispute and they claimed they fixed it but there still exists search issues for our music crossed up with theirs

And based on this article, it appears we’ve got “other” funds coming as well 🤞🏾

We are NOT a record store.
We do NOT sell music/sound equipment.

We are a record LABEL.

This is why trademark law exists. It should restrict anyone from using even a part of another's pre-existing business name, but it does not. I would know; she's a lawyer.

So, be advised that the Eargasm Records store in WA is NOT us,
could NOT ever BE us although they want to benefit from US
by using our name, which trademark law allows in that their
line of business is different.

We have been receiving customer disputes from customers who evidently don't realize that record store IS NOT US.

It's so wild that we, Get 'Er Done Fam, have inspired SO MANY social media TRENDS ... BUT PEOPLE DON'T GIVE US CREDIT

Like this whole is clearly inspired by OUR that we started, at least, 5 years ago

Whoever started the "summer bucket list" was desperately trying to detach the summer tradition we started AWAY FROM US that they used a term that is generally morbid ...

This is newer "update" to the definition:
"The 'bucket list' originally meant a list of things that one would like to do before dying—that is, before 'kicking the bucket.' In the film, Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson play terminal cancer patients living it up while they still can. But now, a 'bucket list' doesn't have to be so morbid."

And here's the original:
"Sense 2 ('list of things to accomplish before one's death') refers to kick the bucket (“to die”), bucket in this sense possibly referring to a beam to which a pig is hung by its heels after it has been slaughtered (possibly from Old French buquet ('balance; trebuchet'))."
.. We, Get 'Er Done Fam, are ALL ABOUT LIVING LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY, EMPOWERING OURSELVES, GROWING BEYOND TROPES AND SOCIETAL LIMITATIONS TO BE OUR BEST, MOST FULFILLED AND IMPACTFUL SELVES ...

so y'all can keep referring to it as a "bucket list" if that floats your boat

BUT WE RIDE AND LIVE OVER HERE...

Also, is much much more practical because just like y'all FALL SHORT ... lbh you're going to fall short with a bucket list too and many of the things you're listing are regular schmegular and don't challenge yourself to explore new opportunities, experiences, and expand your enlightenment.

That's what is all about ... TRYING NEW THINGS!

No matter how you try to dress it up, is still giving morbid, burdensome to do list, and failed tries and lies to yourself. Because lbh again, most of you become disillusioned and depressed when you fail to complete your personal or work to-do list SO WHY ADD ANOTHER UNREALISTIC LIST to your life

With you don't make an exhaustive list at all, you, instead, list ONLY 30 NEW THINGS YOU'D (OR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY) LIKE TO TRY and then you set out to do as many of those things as you can for that summer BUT THERE'S NO BUCKET or terminal conclusion because you can carry over WHATEVER YOU DIDN'T DO to the next summer and maybe even add more things to bring your list back up to 30 the next year

THERE'S NO SENSE OF FAILURE, GUILT, LACK OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE, UNREALISTIC GOAL TOWARD PERFECTION ... OR NONE OF THAT TOXIC ISH THAT SOCIAL MEDIA PERVERTS ALL GOOD THINGS INTO

Summuh y'all need some

Oh and can be little new things too.

Summuh y'all got your regular errands on your even defeating the whole purpose of a bucket list in general which is to challenge oneself beyond the mundane ... like "get your nails done" or "read a book" or "take a walk" is not "bucket-worthy" ... I see why y'all call it a bucket list in that regard because YOUR LIST HAS NO PULSE (find the humor lol) ... goodness gracious y'all
