I just want to address the elephant in the room.

I'm sure by now most you have seen the amount of shows that have been cancelled under Worn Down Media CLT

None of these were intentional and were completely out of our hands.

We have lost our shows at 27 Club in Asheville due to the Hurricane Helene causing catastrophic damage to the entire city and cities surrounding this area. This included 2 announced shows and one unannounced show which was supposed to be a birthday show for myself turning 31.

The shows we lost at Ellenboro which includes The Hands of Fate Festival and Halloween Haunt were both due to damage to the Venue. This is an outdoor venue and the mass of the area around the venue outside including the structural foundation of the actual Venue itself were completely ripped to shreds due to the Hurricane.

Lastly, our show we had booked for 10/19 in Charlotte, we lost due to a ownership change at the said venue. With this new ownership, unfortunately the amount of financial responsibilities that was pushed on us wasn't feasible for us to run this show. This also includes a 12/7 show that are looking to relocate/postpone.

We tried in our best efforts to preserve the shows and festivals we had and unfortunately we were unsuccessful due to time/booking constraints that came along with these.

The news I am receiving today about the relocating of the Halloween haunt show under a new venue and new ownership is gut wrenching to say the least. The show has lost half of the bands, all of the vendors included as well as the Su***de Benefit aspect of the show.

With all of this being said, I will still be pushing through with the 10/12 show at the Rooster this weekend, and Worn Clothing Company will still be vending at the WTTF Fest in November. I ask everyone to come out and support these events to the fullest.

I want to apologize deeply to every band, vendor or individual that was involved. All refunds will be processed for these events if you had purchased a ticket for any of them.

Moving into 2025, I will only be booking ONE show per month in the surrounding areas with more backend research as well as more structure for putting things together.

Unfortunately, due to the amount of damage that has been caused by Hurricane Helene to the AVL+ area, we are forced to cancelled our 11/9 and 11/15 show at 27 club.

We will work to make these shows happen again in the near future if possible.

Please continue to support the AVL+ area and help those in need!
