We got all glamed up and went to a charity function last night and didn’t take a single picture 🤦🏼‍♂️😅 these were the only ones we took as we got home and got in our cozy clothes to get ready for bed. But honestly, these pics encapsulate us more than any posey picture anyway! We are the worst about remembering to get photos/videos when we’re together and maybe it’s a good thing because we’re having a good time and being present in the moment. Nonetheless, last night was so fun with or without the outfits pics 😂

Moved 32,000 lbs (16 tons) of soil today into our flower beds with our friends and family. Was absolutely exhausting but worth every second doing it alongside our community of people we love. We’re so lucky to have such great people supporting us and to have their help. More in depth post coming tomorrow but we’re so grateful and full with love. Life is good. Now excuse while we lay horizontal til further notice 😅🤣

Celebrated Easter with family yesterday and of course we couldn’t come empty handed! Mac made this Citrus Bundt Cake (yes, the flowers were edible too) and Conor made a flower arrangement as a centerpiece for the table. Hope you all had a lovely Easter!

Having a yard was one of the big inspirations for us to move back to Charlotte. It was a non negotiable and after living in NYC for so long, we wanted to be able to step outside and immediately be in our own little private oasis with nature. And while we knew it was gonna be an important aspect for us, we didn’t realize just how important. We’ve been spending so much time outside between preparing the garden, letting oliver out to play, and just reveling in the sunshine that it really has made such a difference for us. We have discovered we have so many birds (including beautiful cardinals which is the NC state bird), Cleo, our stray cat friend (who we are still working on trying to convince to live with us) and have started to learn what trees and plants we have around the property. It’s brought us so much joy and just reaffirms that we made the right choice moving to Charlotte. So grateful for our lil oasis! Now just wait til it’s blooming with countless flowers 🙈

Surprise! We got a house in Charlotte, NC and have decided to start a new adventure. NYC hasn’t felt like home for a while and we’ve been doing a test run in Charlotte since December and have been loving it here. Living in NYC, we put some dreams on the back burner. Having made the move, it felt like the right time to pursue those dreams including starting a micro cut flower farm! Homemaking has always come naturally to us so we’re excited to share our projects here for you all to see! I hope you’ll follow along with our journey and hopefully be inspired too.
