We always LOVE our destination weddings!!

Had the most incredible time in Dallas/Ft. Worth DJing the ceremony and reception of Louis & Eric at the American Aorlines CW Smith Museum!

It was such a fabulous and unique location, and the perfect place for guests from 17 STATES (and England, lol) to come together and celebrate 2 amazing humans - congratulations to the grooms!

2023 was our busiest year to date as DJs (after 20 years in the business), and simultaneously - our worst year to date at social media, lol.

And so… we are looking forward to catching up! We’ll be reviewing some of last years’s highlights, along with sharing pics of real-time and recent events.

Starting with the incredible wedding of Cassie and Jennie at at Cedar Hill!

This January, we were fortunate enough to grab these pics and videos of this all-out celebration that we were lucky enough to DJ.

Ok, my friends.... It's that time!

Each year, HUG provides a full thanksgiving meal for 200-300 struggling families... and this year we are expecting that number to DOUBLE.

So, we need your help!!!!!

Food drives, donated items and funding (funds are HUGE because we buy in bulk), and even simply reposting and sharing across social media are the best ways to help us serve this deserving community.

We will never be tired of these mountains, and these moments, and this job, and soaking in the infinite amount of love between soulmates.

Still not sure what we’ve done to deserve this life, but we’ll forever do our best to not take one second of it for granted.

Y’all. Let us tell you about last night.

We showed up at Protagonist last night to DJ on an amazing drag show… which the performers most definitely did!! The place was packed, the energy was incredible, and the vibes were so, so good.

And then it rained.
It poured, actually.
But instead of leaving, everybody just moved in a few feet, hunkered down with their dollars, and kept the show going.

And then, in between performances, we changed up the set list a little and threw in some throwbacks and newer beats.

And the party we didn’t know we were having - was ON.

The people in these videos are total strangers. They are black, white, Latino, gay, straight, young, old, and everything else in between. But strangers. They didn’t all come together for a party, or a celebration, or a wedding. They didn’t come last night to throw down and dance all night at a club. They came to chill with their friends on picnic tables at a brewery, and catch a fantastic drag show.

But then… they became the show.

And it. was. amazing.

So much love. So much acceptance. So much good energy. So many positive vibes.

Our hearts are pretty damn full ❤️

Weddings can be a lot for little ones sometimes, so we are always happy to take on an “assistant DJ” for a bit to just create a fun, interactive experience - as well as giving some parents a tiny break and some peace of mind 🙂

We had SO much fun at Merchant and Trade celebrating Keith and Suzie last weekend! This awesome rooftop bar in the middle of the city was a fabulous venue for this small, private reception and this crowd was ready to go from beginning to end!!

We love focusing on each and every wedding couple and tailoring our playlists to suit our crowds. From 10-midnight was 2000-2020 top 40 and Hip Hop, and from Midnight to 2am we dropped some killer remixes and backbeats to really nail the club feel of the end of the night.

There are several things we are super proud of as DJs for the last 18 years; and variety and diversity are some of our greatest strengths! We will ALWAYS go above and beyond to make sure our clients get exactly what they want, and have the events they’ve always dreamed of 🙂

It’s been a while since we’ve had a second to post - between our volunteer work with the Hearts Beat as One Foundation and our wedding schedule ramping back up, we’ve been going full speed lately!!

Looking back at the last 365 days, we are incredibly proud to represent such an amazing organization doing such wonderful work. As the Programs Director for HB1, Bethany had the opportunity to speak on the status and needs of our homeless community many times with local news stations and media outlets. We are still heavily involved in our volunteer work daily, but we still look forward to EVERY wedding we do, and all of the love and energy that that we give and get from our weddings and parties ❤️
