When marketing teams think of funnels, they generally think of them as marketing funnels.📈 (READ DESCRIPTION BELOW)

We decided to create a CONNECTION funnel that determines our priorities.

Last year we showed this funnel to a church and by the end of the year they had passed 100,000 YouTube subscribers. 🫳🎤

1️⃣ Vertical Videos
At the top of this funnel are vertical videos (right now). These are the number one way to reach masses of people.
There is a formula for this we will talk about later.

This is the 1st touch point. Your tribe will move to step 2

2️⃣ Social Media Platforms
This includes Instagram, Facebook Twitter TikTok, and YouTube. Whatever platform they found you on is where they will start to follow you.

Identify your highest converting platforms.

Now you have a chance to show back up in their feed. Use it wisely, and be cautious about straying too far from your original content formula.

3️⃣ Your YouTube Channel
Now that you have them in your circle, you should lead them to your YouTube channel.

Your YouTube channel will have a library of long form content, that include info about what you sell, or how folks can donate.

Going out on social media and asking for donations is hard.😓
Going out on YouTube with powerful content and plugging your product or website strategy is more effective. 👌

3 Ways You Can Build Community on Instagram Starting Today! 💥

1. Post on your story 3-5 times a day. Idea: Share a quick video of what you're up to (maybe you're at a taco shop 🌮, your church's outreach event 🤝, or taking a nature walk outside 🏞️).

2. Utilize Instagram’s Interactive Features 📱 Instagram stories feature polls, Q&A stickers, and more that you can use to help your audience engage with your content. Idea: Post a Q&A sticker on your story for your followers or church members to ask questions, which you can then answer on your story!

3. Engage with people in the comment section 💬 Respond to those who comment on your posts, even if it's just a “thank you!” or an emoji like “🙌”.

These steps will all help build relationship online and maintain your post engagement as you grow your online community 📈❤️

💡 Remember, any time you're unsure about using a particular feature on Instagram, use Google search to look up a tutorial. 😃
