LG Alliance has been at James Island this week working with Camp Rise Above for their 2-day camps! Camp Rise Above is a unique non-profit organization that provides fun, life changing camp experiences to children with serious illnesses, life challenges, and disabilities. These children and their families have daily challenges like heart and kidney diseases, craniofacial differences, sickle cell anemia, brain tumors, epilepsy, Tourette’s, traumatic brain injuries, asthma, cerebral palsy, and those facing life challenges such as living in group homes. Camp Rise Above believes children deserve to experience the magic of childhood, regardless of their medical status. They send these children to camp -FOR FREE with your help. Watching some of the video this week has been heart-felt & to see the smiles on these children's face is so rewarding.
