Hand made pediatric Cancer Awareness quilt. This quilt was made by Georgia Ryan who works at EIU in the Counseling Clinic. The stitching style is called Serendipity. I tried to get a good photo of the back to show the detail, but the pictures do not do this quilt justice. It is ABSOLUTELY beautiful. Georgia put a lot of time, love, and kindness into every stitch of this blanket. It is large enough to fit a queen size bed easily. It will definitely keep you warm on a cold winter night. The rainbow blocks on the front are a pattern called Wyatt's Special Rainbow, so we knew that had to be on this quilt. A TRUE KEEPSAKE. The starting bid on this is $350.00 and this quilt is worth FAR MORE than that. The front is Gold for Pediatric Cancer and red was Whyatt's favorite color, so that is why these colors were chosen. AND HOW FORTUNATE THAT ITS ALSO CHARLESTON TROJAN COLORS!!!!
