In honor of heading down to Beautiful South Florida this weekend!

I wanted to share some of my Favorite and most memorable catches from down in the Sunshine state.

It never ceases to amaze me not only the variety of species down here but also the exotics you can catch right in the Freshwater while reeling in a Largemouth Bass!

Big Fish. Little Boat 🙌🏻🔥

I am absolutely over the moon to catch the First of many BEAUTIFUL fish in my New from and I couldn’t have done it without all the incredible people who support me and my fishy adventures!

This Gorgeous Redfish measured in at 26.5” on my incredible Ruler by and is surely a fish I will remember for years!

And now that the skunk is off and the days are getting longer and warmer… let’s show this skiff what she’s really about!

Maiden Voyage 🌅 ⚓️

Well after 10 years of saying I wouldn’t… I finally turned to the dark side and got me a beautiful Boat. And was Yesterday one hell of a maiden voyage!

Started at the ramp and couldn’t get the ole 6 Hp Suzuki cranked. Finally got her cranked and enjoyed a half hour at a local island before deciding it’s best to come back early on her first trip. But then Ran out of fuel in the middle of the water way. Thankfully had a gas tank and got her going.

Then got back to the ramp to find the worse negative tide I’ve ever seen and neighbors of 40 years has ever experienced. Which means there was no getting any of our boats out for two hours or longer till tide came in.

And I say all this to say THANK YOU to the folks who helped me today. The awesome dad with his son, Todd for getting her running at the ramp when I gave up, the folks at the island for getting her another crank when I couldn’t , my little gas tank for being full, and then the INCREDIBLE folks (Danny and his daughter, Malley and another young man) who helped me lift my skiff out of the water and up onto my trailer to get home. And my great neighbors for coming to check on me.

So this is your reminder, if you buy a boat… have good friends and community first!

Boat life ain’t for the weak but you live and learn! And it will make for one heck of a story 🤣🙌🏻

Lookin’ Fly on the New Skiff 🔥

So beyond excited to finally get my on the Water Yesterday and run her for the first time with my new 6 Hp .

I couldn’t help but sing a country rendition of Disney’s Ariel… “it’s a whole new world”. Cause man oh man is this rig SWEET 🌎 🙌🏻

And it won’t be long until I’m catching so many different species on it and exploring new areas I’ve only dreamed of. 🎣

So stay tuned.. it’s going to be a FUN Year! 🥰🔥

Goodbye 2024 , Hello 2025 👋🏻 ✨

Y’all I don’t even know where to begin to describe this Year 🎉

It was sorta like a Roller Coaster I didn’t sign up to ride… there were Highs and Lows, Twist and Turns and at one point, I wasn’t sure if I would laid on my own two feet or the bed of a Hospital.

I’ve faced Great loss, dealt with New health challenges, found the same unrelenting Love with my little boy and a wonderful relationship as well as celebrated some pretty incredible accomplishments of my own but most of all…

I was able to spend another year sharing and spreading my passion and love of Fishing and the Outdoors with so many of you.

Not only Here on Social media but also through incredible partnerships, hosting inspiring events and classes for all to learn and getting so many involved. As well as being able to guide so many great anglers on their first catches and instilling the confidence in them to fish for a lifetime!

So if you’ve been following along for a while, attended a class before , supported an event or even just got inspired by watching one of my videos in the past.

I hope you know how much your support means to me and my family. And that no matter where you started, what you wear, how you like to fish or who tells you “You can’t”…

You are an Angler and Pluff Mud Princess will always be here to stand up for the folks who think outside the box, don’t fit the standards, or maybe don’t want too!! You are welcome and Loved here! 🙌🏻🥰
