Fishing is for Everyone they say…. but the Opportunity to learn should be as well 🙌🏻🔥

Y’all it’s wild to think it’s been almost 3 years now that I started hosting and teaching my Pluff Mud fishing education events simply because… well nobody else was hosting events with material or techniques that beginning anglers could even begin to understand or grasp. Especially for Women and Youth Anglers. 🩷

They wanted to discuss why the Willow blades on a spinner bait make a difference on a Tuesday vs a Wednesday in February. VS actually explaining how to use a spinner bait or the correct way to tie on a spinner bait.

If fishing is for everyone, why do so many seem to overcomplicate what should be common knowledge we want to share with everyone. 🤔

And so I started hosting these Fishing 101 & Fishing 102 events 3 years ago on my own with no idea if anybody would show up but goodness did y’all show up…

And I started hosting these classes to anybody who would listen… Ladies Events,Tackle shops, Summer Camps, Boat Clubs, Home school Events, Local Expos, Private lessons, National Events, and even some upcoming retailer events.

And I say all this because I’ve not had any major sponsors or monetary support with these events. I’ve put my literal blood, sweat and tears into these events just to see them happen. And I do all of this to try to make a difference… Even if it’s only in one anglers journey.

As I know firsthand what it’s like to be a young girl or woman without the opportunity or mentor to learn how to fish.

So if you’re out there and you don’t know where to turn to learn how to fish or you’ve never had that encouragement to begin…

Just know you do belong and I want to see these events in everyone’s home town across the country and the opportunity to learn how to fish will never be something you have to grow up without.

And even though it was a GRIND to catch fish today, I am reminded that nothing good in life comes without patience and perseverance…
